One of the most popular areas of the park is the pets corner. We have recently been awarded funding from Oswaldtwistle Area Council to replace our very old aviary with a much larger new one and to create better signage of the area so that people have more information about the animals.

The animals are now being looked after on a daily basis by fully qualified staff from Bootstrap Enterprises. You will see them around the area caring for the animals. Please stop them and ask questions about the animals. They are more than happy to advise on what you can feed the animals and why certain foods like bread, crisps and chocolate are very bad for them.

We are looking for people who would like to assist with looking after the animals in the Pets Corner at the weekend. We would like a volunteer to lock up the two pedestrian gates in an evening. We already have someone who walks a dog in the morning and unlocks for us. If you would like to help please contact us.
